The UK Singlespeed Mountain bike championships takes place in different locations each year and is run on a not for profit basis by volunteers.
All surplus from ticket sales, along with any money made from the raffle of prizes generously donated by our sponsors is donated to a number of worthy causes.
It’s an event that doesn’t take itself too seriously; attracting hardcore racers, as well as those who would rather chat about gear ratios at the beer stop…
Location
The event is taking place on a private estate on the South Eastern edge of the Quantock Hills near Bishops Lydeard. However, there are plenty of opportunities to explore the rest of the local area.
There’s a myriad of public bridleways, trails and footpaths on the Quantocks and nearby Exmoor.
Kilve beach is excellent for fossil hunting and there is a new bouldering wall in nearby Nether Stowey. Furthermore, there are a number of local outdoor providers we can put you in touch with for guided tours and equipment hire, if SUPs or kayaks are more your thing.

Let’s face it, the bicycle industry is a little bit broken in the UK right now.
However, singlespeeders are a fiercely loyal, grassroots bunch, who ride all year round and test the durability of their kit to destruction.
Singlespeed UK couldn’t run without the generous donations from supporters, which includes race and raffle prizes.
